According to the report of public relations of Farzan Institute of Science, Research and Technology, during the August of this year, a self-care course of health ambassadors and a course for prevention and control of risk factors of cardiovascular disease (CVD) was held by Farzan Institute for 550 employees of Privatization Organization and Environmental Protection in Tehran province. In this training, the staff of above mentioned organizations attended physically and also online for learning the principles of self-care and prevention of CVD. They participated in the course exams and received certificate of in-service training prepared for the employees of governmental organizations. The Farzan Institute of Science, Research and Technology has in-service training license from Management and Planning Organization of the country. In fact, running the E-learning programs will save money and is obviously cost effective, as it minimizes the costs and avoids unnecessary transportations, prevents dissociation form the workplace for service providing employees who cannot leave the workplace. The Farasa Electronic Education and Assessment System involves more than 200 training topics with 130,000 users from hundreds of universities, research centers and organizations across the country.
