Farzan Institute for Advancement of Science, Research and Technology was selected as the top entrepreneur in the Sixth National Festival for Appreciating Top Entrepreneurs in 2011 and received the festivals certificate of honor and statuette.
The Sixth National Festival for Appreciating Top Entrepreneurs was held on July 25 by the Bureau of Labor and Social Affairs of Tehran province. Out of 18 entrepreneurs who found their way into the finals, 10 were selected as top entrepreneurs of the province. In this year, 250 applicants had registered for the competitions, and 18 individuals were selected for the finals.
Dr. Gholamreza Habibi, founder and CEO of the institute, was selected the Top Entrepreneur and awarded a certificate of honor and a statuette.
The ceremonies were attended by Mr. Doostali, vice president to the minister of labor and social affairs, Mr. Tamaddon, governor of Tehran, Mr. Torki, governor’s deputy for planning and policy making, Mr. Bashiri, representative of Pakdasht at the parliament, Mr. Kalatehahi, directing manager of Tehran’s association of corporations, and some other officials of Tehran province.
Alongside the ceremonies, an exposition of the achievements of entrepreneurs of Tehran was held. The stand of Farzan Institute introduced and presented the achievements of 10 years of its history and the innovations it has pioneered. The stand was visited and appreciated by high-ranking officials of the nation, including vice-president to the minister of labor and social affairs, members of parliament, directing manager of the bureau of labor and social affairs of Tehran province, and officials of Tehran’s governorship.
Farzan Institute, as a knowledge-based institute and the first Iranian organization for clinical research, has always placed innovations on top its priorities.

During the festival, the national news agency and News Channel conducted interviews with Dr. Habibi, the CEO of Farzan Institute. In addition, daily journals of Donayaye Eghtesad, Jahane Eghtesad, and Tehran Times covered the event and reported the achievements of Farzan Institute.
