Ayandeh Bank and Farzan Institute of Science, Research and Technology Signed a Memorandum of Cooperation to Hold Smart Campaigns and Improve Staff Health

Ayandeh Bank and Farzan Institute of Science, Research and Technology signed a Memorandum of Understanding with the aim of conducting smart campaigns and promoting staff health as well as screening and prevention of chronic and non-communicable diseases. The memorandum of cooperation signed by Dr. Ezatollah Alikhani, Director of the Health Center of the Ayandeh Bank and Dr. Gholam Reza Habibi, Director of Farzan Institute of Science, Research and Technology. According to the Memorandum, the Ayandeh Bank and Farzan Institute will cooperate on non- communicable diseases and lifestyle changes, aiming to prevent these diseases according to the instructions provided by smart health systems and by conducting smart campaigns for bank staff at nationwide level. A variety of programs have been developed during the implementation of the smart campaigns, including smart feedback and evaluation, telemedicine, distance consulting, webinars, training programs, smart messages adjusted to health needs of the staff, monitoring, periodic examinations and diagnostic tests. Smart phone tools such as mobile apps and messaging systems are also used to conduct these campaigns. Accordingly, users can participate in campaigns through their PCs or smart phones. The main topics of the campaigns in the field of non-communicable diseases, include smart campaign of cardiovascular disease, hypertension, diabetes, mental health (focusing on stress and depression), chronic respiratory diseases, cancers (focusing on colorectal and lung cancers and also breast and cervical cancer in women), musculoskeletal diseases and ergonomics. In order to change the lifestyle and to prevent non-communicable diseases, the smart campaigns for physical exercise and body fitness, nutrition, obesity, weight loss, smoking cessation and healthy sleep will also be implemented. The employees of Ayandeh Bank can participate in each campaign through unique addresses and keep themselves informed about of the latest health information and findings in the field and how to prevent it. These programs are based on a comprehensive smart health system. The Farzan Institute of Science, Research and Technology as the top entrepreneur in Tehran province and the top national entrepreneur, has been honored and appreciated by the Presidency of the Islamic Republic of Iran and the Ministry of Cooperatives, Labor and Social Welfare. This institute has published more than 500 papers in renowned international medical journals up to the impact factor of 24. Also, the books published in health topics have earned the high rankings and awards such as Academic Year Book, Student Year Book, Ibn-e-Sina Festival Selected Book and Shahid Hedayat Festival Selected Book. In the field of eHealth training, the institute is currently in collaboration with 50 medical universities across the country and implements joint programs.
